Normandie is divided into
two and Basse Normandie (lower Normandie) is in the north west
of France on the coast of the English Channel - the lower area
has the river Seine running through it before it reaches the
Channel.

urbanisation and population and probably its most popular
attraction is Mont Saint Michel, a rocky, cone-shaped islet in
the
Gulf of Saint-Malo. It is connected by a causeway to the
mainland and the entire island is crowned by the abbey church

The causeway leads out to the Mont and parking lots are on either side of the causeway. When the tides come in these parking lots will be completely submerged.
